“Employees who have regular 1/1 meeting with their manager are 3 times more likely to be engaged (Gallup survey, 2016).” Team members will succeed the expected performance if they have 4 components: motivation, resources, skills, clear objectives. The regular, systematic individual 1/1 meetings between the manager and their team member is an essential management tool to review these 4 components. It brings improved performance and staff retention

Target Group:
Any person (Director, Manager, Supervisor) having subordinates or managing transversal teams 

Learning Outcomes:

  • Plan and start the implementation of regular individual 1/1 meetings based on a simple guideline
  • Review questioning and feedback techniques to support the various situations during the 1/1 meetings

Main Content:
Three sessions within two months: (total 4 hours)

  • Session 1 (1h30): introduction, review and practice of questioning techniques, 1/1 guideline.
  • Session 2 (1h30): follow up implementation, review feedback techniques
  • Session 3 (1h00): follow up implementation, problems solving

Learning by doing, small groups of participants, support of real implementation.
