EAC Committee Hosts Conference on French Indo-Pacific Strategy on 9 April 2025
On 9 April, the European Aerospace Committee (EAC), a joint initiative by Franco-Thai Chamber of Commerce (FTCC) and Thai-European Business Association, organized a conference on “French Indo-Pacific Strategy & French Operations in the Region” at Bonjour Bonsoir - Modern Bouillon & Café in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
The event started with warm welcome speeches from FTCC President, Mr. Jean-Boris Roux, and TEBA President, Mr. Pierre Jaffre.
We had the great honor to welcome two special guests:
?RADM Ludovic Poitou, Head of International Security Affairs, Ministry for the Armed Forces
?BG Patrick Vaglio, head of the "Bilateral Cooperation South" division, Joint Defence Staff
Their insightful presentation highlighted France’s strategic defense approach in the Indo-Pacific, including its defense diplomacy, regular joint exercises, and recent high-profile deployments such as the aircraft carrier mission.
