FTCC Industry Summit 2026 Explores How Industrial Leaders Adapt to New Economics
Bangkok, 7 October 2026 — The Franco-Thai Chamber of Commerce (FTCC), through its Industry Committee, hosted the third edition of its Industry Summit, “How Industrial Leaders Adapt to New Economics,” at SO/ Bangkok. The event brought together industry leaders, experts and business professionals to exchange perspectives on economic developments, digital transformation, sustainability and industrial resilience.
Originally planned at Amata Castle in Chonburi, the summit was relocated to Bangkok as a precaution against adverse weather. FTCC extends its sincere appreciation to AMATA for its collaboration and to all speakers, partners, exhibitors and participants for their flexibility and continued support.
The opening session featured remarks from Supakit Boonsiri, Director-General of the Office of Industrial Economics (OIE); Araya Saiphet, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Industrial Works (DIW), Ministry of Industry, via video; and Thanakorn Leelachaijaroenphan, Industry Committee Co-Chair and Business Development Manager at Veolia.
The expert panel brought together Pantita Buachan (DIW), Pongsathorn Dechatiwongse Na Ayutthaya (EECO), Nataphol Naewthai (Siemens), and Sujit Chaivichayachat and Taned Mahattanalai (Krungsri). Moderated by Patrice Pischedda, Global Sales Director at ACOEM, the discussion explored developments shaping Thailand’s industrial landscape.
The industry leaders panel featured Pauline Blum (Michelin), Thuy Ngo (Sodexo), Matt Stanelos (Veolia) and Mehdi Meftah (Mayoly). Moderated by Kari Harteva, Partner at August Leadership, the session offered business perspectives on adapting to changing economic conditions.
Interactive roundtable discussions led by FTCC Industry Committee members provided opportunities for practical exchanges and deeper dialogue. The programme concluded with networking, allowing participants to build connections across the industrial community.
