Bangkok, 06 November 2024Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok recently invited talented young musicians from the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra (RBSO) to serenade visitors during Afternoon Tea.

The exclusive mini-concert held in the hotel’s elegant Lobby Lounge was a part of the brand’s signature Kempinski Concertini series. The gifted young musicians played “Rhapsody in Red”, a classical piece of music composed especially for Kempinski Hotels.

With this concert, Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok underscores its commitment to supporting the local community and promoting cultural exchange. Since it opened, the hotel has hosted a variety of events over the years, including exhibitions, concerts, and performances.

The Kempinski Concertini series was a cultural initiative piloted in 2017-18 in select hotels. The idea was to transform the Lobby Lounges into a stage for young artists from the local community based on the philosophy that each hotel is a unique space where beautiful performances are crafted daily for guests, with the Lobby Lounge at the heart of it all. It has since evolved into a series of mini-concerts, with up-and-coming talented young artists from local music schools invited to ‘Play and Stay in Style’ on a beautiful stage in the lobby lounge of the hotels.

The Kempinski Concertini Series allows each hotel to entertain guests from around the world, connect with the community and promote the hotel as a local destination.

“We are thrilled with the success of our recent Kempinski Concertini and grateful to the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra for partnering with us to present this unique event,” said Christian Ruge, General Manager, Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok. “We believe it is important to support the arts and provide a platform for young musicians to share their talents with the world.”
