With the growing population (estimated to reach 9.6 billion by 2050) Governments around the World is wondering how to produce enough food for everyone.  The solution according to the United Nation should not be “How to produce more food but instead how to reduce food waste and stop wasting so much of what we already have?”
 
In addition with the rise of the transparency trend coming from Millennials, who have higher expectations when it comes to the "green" credentials of the accommodations they select, Governments are not the only entities wondering about the best way and action to create and implement program. Companies, hotels and restaurants around the World are ready to work on a more sustainable option to save up-to 1.3 billion tonnes of lost or wasted food Worldwide & for the more “Business Oriented” organizations “How to save 32 trillion Baht on food costs every year?”

Our Speaker Benjamin Lephilibert, founder of LightBlue Environmental Consulting, is an expert on Food Waste prevention. His approach is both cross-hierarchy and cross-departmental, working hand in hand with Heads of Departments and in particular HR to develop and implement practical solutions based on awareness raising, capacity building and employees engagement.

During this HR & CSR Breakfast Talk, Benjamin will be sharing his knowledge and some solutions about food waste. A concrete and practical case study with an example of a sorting system from one of his most recent partner “Pullman King Power”.
