Scarlett Wine Bar & Restaurant Presents Uncorked: A Sicilian Chapter
Bangkok, Thailand 11 November 2025 – Scarlett Wine Bar & Restaurant invites wine enthusiasts and gourmands to an unforgettable evening of fine dining and world-class wines on Thursday, 27 November 2025, from 7:00 PM onwards.
As part of Scarlett’s signature wine dinner series Uncorked, this edition A Sicilian Chapter will take guests on a journey through the flavours, history, and spirit of Sicily.
In partnership with Independent Wine & Spirits (IWS), Scarlett is honoured to host a special wine dinner featuring the legendary Planeta Winery, a family-run producer established in 1995 but rooted in a 500-year agricultural heritage passed down through 17 generations. Today, Planeta is celebrated for its six estates across Sicily, each showcasing a unique terroir and winemaking tradition.
Guests will enjoy a meticulously crafted 5-course set menu designed by Scarlett’s chefs to complement Planeta’s celebrated vintages. Each course will be thoughtfully paired with wines from Planeta’s renowned collection, including:

Paired with: Gnocco fritto, mortadella and ricotta, balsamic reduction
Planeta La Segreta Grillo White DOC 2023
Paired with: Zucchini, pistachio condiment, fresh dill, curry, and turmeric powder
Planeta Etna Bianco 2021
Paired with: Scallop, compressed watermelon, fig oil vinaigrette, lemon zest,

Planeta La Segreta Nero d’Avola Rosso DOC 2020
Paired with: Tagliata Wagyu tenderloin, roasted tomato, rocket mesclun,
fennel, Parmigiano, Xérès dressing
Planeta Maroccoli Syrah 2020
Paired with: Roasted duck breast, porcini polenta, roselle berry sauce

Adding to this unique occasion, Scarlett is proud to welcome Mr. Santi Planeta, Founder of Planeta Winery, who will personally present and share the captivating stories behind each wine. His insights promise to take guests on a journey through generations of winemaking tradition, terroir, and innovation.
