FTCC team at Bistrot De La Mer, the new French Mediterranean Restaurant at Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok
On Tuesday, July 11, 2023, the FTCC Team had the opportunity to visit Bistrot De La Mer, a new French Mediterranean Restaurant located at the Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel in Bangkok. We received a warm welcome from M.L. Chantanipa Kasemsri, the Director of Public Relations and Protocol, and Khun Ladawinee Pongswatkul, the Public Relations Manager.
The restaurant offers a menu filled with authentic French classics. Guests can start their dining experience with options like the yellowtail tuna Salad Nicoise, which transports them straight to the French Riviera, or the classic French Onion Soup that evokes the essence of French cuisine. The highlight main dishes include the Lobster Thermidor with a rich cognac sauce, as well as the traditional fish Bouillabaisse, originating from Marseille and deemed 'parfait' by those who enjoy sharing.
Remaining true to its coastal inspiration, Bistrot De La Mer also provides a market cornet offering a fresh 'catch-of-the-day' and seasonal delicacies throughout the year, such as turbot, white asparagus, bulot, oysters, and other favorites. Seafood lovers will be delighted to find Gillardeau #3, Fine De Claire #2, and Tsarskaya #3 oysters, as well as Osetra Prestige and Baeri Royal caviar. Vegetarian options include a grilled eggplant steak and mussels mariniere. To end the meal on a high note, guests can indulge in classic French desserts, with the Tarte Tatin being a particular standout.
Bistrot De La Mer ensures a luxurious 5-star service, characteristic of Kempinski Hotels, accompanied by an extensive drinks list. The wine selection offers a variety of choices from around the world, and guests can also choose from a list of bespoke classic and signature cocktails.
Situated on the 19th floor of the Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok, Bistrot De La Mer enjoys a unique position in the city center, providing stunning views of Bangkok alongside its exquisite French Mediterranean cuisine.
Bistrot De La Mer is open every day for lunch (12.00 – 15.00) and dinner (17.00 – 22.00).
