Past Event l EAC committee at Utapao
On November 24, the European Aerospace Committee (EAC) - a joint Franco-Thai Chamber of Commerce (FTCC) / Thai European Business Associationinitiate was honored to visit Utapao airport (UTA) with a warm welcome from Rear Admiral Kiatkul Suwan, Deputy Director of Utapao Airport and K. Wirawat Panthawangkun, CEO of UTA.
EAC was given in depth presentations of Utapao airport, its history, its present activities and its transformation as a state of the art airport, with, in particular, the building of a second runway, new passengers terminals, a cargo terminal, an airport city, MRO & FBO facilities and a permanent Convention Center (home of the future Thailand Air Show)
EAC members could have a dense and fruitful exchange with UTN and UTA and certainly got a very clear picture of the airport and its future.
Thanks to UTN & UTA for sharing this structuring EEC project and to EAC members for their visible interest in the project.
EAC will continue to monitor Utapao development closely with UTA & UTN so its members could consider win-win investments.
