The pioneering hotel in Bangkok to launch plant-based food for better health and the benefit of the environment

Bangkok, 28 August 2019Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok, the pioneering hotel in Bangkok for serving plant-based food, is proud to present the ‘Beyond Sausage’ and ‘Beyond Burger’, another collaboration with Green Monday, the Hong Kong organization that promotes a healthier diet and a reduced carbon footprint by advocating for meatless consumption. In September, we will offer more food options to guests and launch the ‘Beyond Som Tum Burger’ (Beyond burger patty, dairy-free cheddar cheese, green papaya salad, lettuce, lime-garlic mayonnaise, brioche bun) and ‘Beyond Curry Sausage’ (Beyond sausage, mild spiced curry sauce, fried shallots, brioche bun) at The Dining Room and Bar@494 from 23 September 2019 onward. Both dishes will be served with either fries or salad. The Beyond Som Tum Burger is at THB 450++ and the Beyond Curry Sausage is THB 290++.

The chefs and the culinary team enthusiastically decided to create healthy menu, soy and gluten free which contain no hormones and nitrates, and 38% less saturated fat. We care about our guests’ well-being and the future of our planet.

To launch the Beyond Burger and Beyond Sausage at The Dining Room and Bar@494, a new burger food truck will be set up on the driveway hotel entrance on Ratchaprasong Road to welcome all guests to experience from 19-23 September, 10.00AM to 7.00PM. Only THB 70 for the Beyond Sausage and THB 100 for the Beyond Burger.

From 23 September, guests can enjoy these dishes at The Dining Room and Bar@494. We also serve a variety of OmniMeat items at You&Mee throughout the day such as ‘Phad Krapraw OmniMeat Rad Khoaw’ (stir-fried spicy OmniMeat, mushroom, hot basil, steamed rice), ‘Larb OmniMeat’ (spicy OmniMeat with Thai Herbs),’ Larb OmniMeat Tord’ (deep-fried marinated spicy OmniMeat), ‘Yum Woon Sen OmniMeat (spicy glass noodle & OmniMince salad), and ‘Kuay Tiew Tom Yum OmniMeat’ (OmniMeat spicy noodle soup).
