EAST Meets WEST Concert at Pullman King Power Bangkok

Presented as part of the ‘Fête de la Francophonie’ 2017 Festival

To celebrate the French language and diversity of French culture at ‘La Fête 2017’, Pullman Bangkok King Power joins hands with the Alliance Francaise de Bangkok and the French Embassy in Thailand to organize the first concert in Bangkok at Glen Bar, combining Thai and French music on Sunday 26th March 2017, from 20.30 hrs. – midnight. FREE Entry!

‘La Fête’ concert opens with FWENDS, a Thai indie-pop band with a new name for a classic band. This five-piece is made up of three of the former members of Cloud Behind and their debut single, the effects-laden ‘Fade Away’, reveals a mature sound that’s pretty epic compared to the bouncy indie-pop of before.

Our concert in Bangkok follows with French pop singer Olivier Marguerit, who is talented in several kinds of instrument such as the guitar, bass, piano, trumpet and flute. He also a member of French boy band ‘Syd Matters’ and used to play with famous French singer/songwriter Barbara Carlotti whose music is deeply rooted in the chanson tradition.

Now he is starting a new solo project called ‘O’, combining English and French as pop melodies with a folk feeling. On stage at ‘La Fête’ concert, he’ll be joined by 2 fantastic musicians to help him reach the energy and emotion that the songs so richly deserve.

Get ready for the first concert at ‘La Fête’ and  Glen Bar by calling to book your seat on 02 680 9999  or visit www.pullmanbangkokkingpower.com
