On Thursday 16th March 2017 - Gala Dinner with 3 World-Class Chefs

Experience for the first time in hotel history the fantastic menus of Chinese Chef Yung Chan, French Chef Gilles <g class="gr_ gr_78 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_run_anim Punctuation only-ins replaceWithoutSep" id="78" data-gr-id="78">Reinhardt</g> and French Pastry Chef Johanna Le Pape paired with specially selected wines.

Chef Gilles Reinhardt was born on March 21st, 1975 in Mulhouse, France and grew up in the small town of <g class="gr_ gr_65 gr-alert gr_spell gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace" id="65" data-gr-id="65">Fellering</g> in the Alsace region. His passion for the culinary arts began when he was only 5 years old.  In the year 2000, he received a phone call from Paul Bocuse, the Master from Collonges and the Pope of French Gastronomy, who offered him a job at his famous restaurant. Since then he has entered a number of international culinary competitions and always ended up taking away the grand prize.

Chef Reinhardt was awarded the famous title of MOF or “Meilleurs Ouvriers de France” in 2004 by the then French President Jacques Chirac. It is one of the most prestigious awards a chef can earn and members of the public are able to distinguish <g class="gr_ gr_69 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_run_anim Grammar multiReplace" id="69" data-gr-id="69">a MOF</g> holder by the red, white and blue collar of their chef’s jacket, representing the French Tricolore. This award is one of the highest achievements available to a chef, as it is an honor bestowed for life.

Since 1965 Chef Reinhardt’s home Paul Bocuse’s L’Auberge Du Pont de Collonges has never lost a single Michelin star and the guide’s annual inspections remind chefs and restaurateurs to constantly maintain their quality of service, as even the slightest drop in standards can lead to the removal of a coveted star.  

Chef Johanna Le Pape was awarded “World Champion of Pastry” in 2014 from the prestigious Mondial des Arts Sucrés in Paris. This achievement presented her with many opportunities, one of which was becoming a Pastry Chef Instructor at the renowned Alain Ducasse Culinary School (École de Cuisine Alain Ducasse). She specializes in making divine éclairs.
