19 mars 2009: FTCC AGM 2009

70 members (of which 47 with the rights to vote including 3 proxy) attended the FTCC Annual Ordinary General Meeting. The event was presided over by a representative of Mr. Laurent Bili. French Ambassador - Mr. Olivier Andretic, Deputy Commercial and Economic Counsellor of the French Embassy.

Marianne, assigned by the FTCC President, Mr. Garret, lead the AGM by presenting FTCC report for 2008 and the FTCC plans for 2009. 2008 has been a good year for the Chamber thanks to the development of new services as well as a strong increase in revenue from the Business Support Department. The year 2009 is forecasted to be dificult but the FTCC intends to help Members go through the crisis by creating more activities such as The "In Love with France" Festival held for the first time last February or the co-development group which aims at accompanying executives in putting together development projects for their firms. Moreover, thanks to the support of the French Ministry of Froeigh Affairs through the Consulate, we add another service called "HR & Employment Support" to help French individuals finding a job/ internships in Thailand.  

The AGM is also an occasion to vote for the new Board of Counsellors. Here is the result for 2009:
