Visas:

Currency and exchange: 

The currency of payment in Thailand is the baht. There are numerous foreign exchange offices in the main cities of the country, and the numerous vending machines (ATM), which accept the main international credit cards.

Jet lag: time zone:         UTC+5 in summer

                                    UTC+6 in winter

Official Holiday and holiday:

The official holiday in Thailand is often lunar holiday. The calendar below is valid only for 2010. The Chinese New Year, at the beginning of February is not a holiday in Thailand, but numerous companies, managed by Chinese, are unemployed during this period.

Travel: 

Go to a meeting to Bangkok can fast turn in the nightmare. Due to the basic English speaking by taxi men, it is not easy to go to desired destination. It is advised to ask for a plan of access (if possible in Thai) to the company before going to the meeting.

On the other hand, and even if the situation tends to improve, traffic jam is very long and the trip can become painful. 

Fortunately, Thais companies know well about this problem, and are very tolerant on the delay of their visitors.
