Working Committees

Activity Committee

The FTCC's Activity committee is in charge of planning and organizing social events (cocktails, gala dinner, etc.) and thematic events (breakfast briefings, site visits, annual general meeting, etc.).
This Committee is also responsible for sponsorship procurement and collaborates with the Communication Project Manager. They meet once a month or according to ongoing projects.

Membership Services Commitee

The Membership Services Committee has two roles:

1. It examines the applications and verify the information provided by  futur members. The committee then proposes the new member to the Board of Directors for formal approval. It also promote the FTCC with companies that may have an interest in becoming a member. During the meetings it studies changes of the membership fee and categorization to be submitted to the Board for approval .

2. It organizes and expands services to members and business support services to companies from France in close collaboration with the direction of the Board and the  French Embassy's Department of Commercial Support. It decides proposals for collective missions held with the Chamber of Commerce in Paris, follows the performance of department support and reviews the service fees. The committee is supervising the global services that are provided free of charge for the members of the FTCC (market information, laws, technical, prospects search, setting relationship, etc.)

The Legal Affairs Committees

The Legal Affairs Committee is composed of lawyers, jurists, and tax experts from many law firms, consulting companies as well as the legal department of our company members.

They meet on the first Tuesday of every month from 12h30 to 14h00. Their role is to give advice and provide legal updates for the FTCC Members. Participants of the Committee also inform lawyers of new regulations introduced in according to their field of expertise.
 
It is therefore a platform for view exchanges and discussions open to all FTCC Members.   

Human Resources Committee

The FTCC Human Resources Committee is a working group within the Franco-Thai Chamber of Commerce composed by Human Resources Directors and Managing Directors. It is an exchange and discussion forum on Human Resources issues and development in Thailand for its members. Its purpose is to monitors and reports on personnel and employment issues and maintains liaison with the Thai Government and local human resources organizations. It promotes understanding of labor practices and policies, acts as a forum for transferring information between FTCC members, the Thai and the French Governments. The Committee organizes an HR Club, meeting on a monthly basis, providing updates, information and exchange of experience on developments in human resource management, including, yearly salary surveys, tracking changes in labor law, educational trends, training needs, people development and workshops to enhance communication and awareness of cross-cultural practices.

Young Professional Committee

“Franco-Thai Chamber of Commerce Young Professional” is an organization for young professionals which holds an open networking on the second Tuesday of every two month.
The purpose of these events is to make membership meaningful to younger professionals within the French Chamber of Commerce, especially those who are interested in or would benefit from the networking opportunities.

The FTCC YP Committee was designed to meet young professional’s needs such as dedicated networking, special HR meetings and any activity that can contribute to the development of their young career.
The committee proposes a special category of membership as well as special FTCC YP networking and HR meetings or professional development in collaboration with our HR Committee and our HR & employment department, as well as all FTCC usual advantage (YP profiles in both Handbook and website).
