"IN LOVE WITH FRANCE", the event initiated by the FTCC and its partners, a good first!
Supported by its partners Learning4Fashion, Maison de la France and Central World, In Love with France is a 4-day event focusing on Fashion, Tourism and Consumer Products. It occured during Thursday 12th to Sunday 15th February 2009.
The event was inaugurated by H.E. Laurent Bili, French Ambassador to Thailand, welcomed by FTCC President - Mr. Jean-Marc Garret. After the ribbon cutting ceremony which marked officially the opening of the event, H.E. Laurent Bili visited every booth with interest accompanied by Mr. Garret, Mr. Frédéric Meyer from Maison de la France and Mr. Michel Testard from Learning 4 Fashion.
- The Forum Zone welcomed FASHION-LOVERS who discovered ready-to-wear collections suiting all ages. Leading brands were present: Alain Delon, Carven, Lacoste, Emmanuel Ungaro, Enfant, Absorba, Elle, Feraud, Guy Laroche, Pierre Cardin, Le Coq Sportif, ...
- The Eden Zone was dedicated to FRENCH CONSUMER PRODUCTS: wines from Wine Connection and Comptoir Français du Vin , cosmetics from Vichy and Paris Spa, Perfumes from Bel Perfumes and Moi Seulement, bread and bakery from Folies and Centara Grand at CentralWorld, Cheese by Kim Chua Trading and Quintessence by Mega Selection, bags from Longchamps.
- The Central Court focused on TOURISM and France. Attracting Thai people with a chance to win a romantic trip to France for lovers, Maison de la France proposed services from its partners (Accor, Air France, Rail Europe, Relais&Chateaux, Avignon Tourism and Lourdes) to communicate about France as a destination to the Thai public, promote French facilities in the Asian region as well as facilitate a next trip in France.
